I purchased a brand new refrigerator from an authorized GE dealer. After four months the compressor fan started making a loud buzzing noise and runs for hours before shutting off.
Five calls to customer service to get a service tech out. They called back three times to cancel and then said I would have to pay out of pocket to an independent repair shop and they would reimburse up to $200 only.
Finally got them to send an authorized rep but it would take four weeks! I always purchased GE because they say "made in America" but at this point I will never purchase another GE appliance again.
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss warranty issue of ge appliances refrigerator and associated monetary loss in the amount of $550. Ge Appliances needs to offer any options to resolve the issue according to poster's claims.
