I recently purchased my kitchen from GE. My very expensive double wall electric oven had a white spot in between the door glass.
Customer service said that it is a cosmetic issue and it is my problem now. They will charge me for a new door even though it came from the factory defective. After many rounds of phone calls this is still unresolved issue and they still insist on charging me to fix the product.
I am a builder/contractor and have been using GE products for most of my life. I will never buy another GE product as long as I live in any of the builder friends of mine will be warned of the customer service issues that I have had and have read about on the web about the GE company.
