I replaced it with a Whirpool. I subscribe to the acronym ABGE - Anything But GE! I was not able to locate the repair for repair of the Florida refrigerator done last year, but the repair was several hundred dollars.

The water line froze making the freezer door inoperable. The GE Monogram refrigerator in Michigan is probably 10 years old. I donโ€™t have the invoice. I do, however, have the manual.

Attached are photos of the manual and the refrigerator. The GE a/c in-wall units at the rental locations were trashed after they all stopped working within three years. The cost to repair them was too high so I simply got rid of them and bought Frigidaire units (and I have had no issues with any of them). Finally, while I am impressed you called and don't doubt your sincerity, there is nothing you can do to change my low opinion of GE and the products it manufacturers.

I hope GE takes my comments seriously. Take a look at the consumer ratings for GE Appliances - 1.5 out of 5 (link below). These folks have had similar problems. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/homeowners/ge_refrigerators.htm Simply put: I will never again purchase a GE product.

Again, thank you for calling.
