I bought a new GE dryer, model DCVH at Lowes. It cost over $1200, one of the most expensive models out.
It broke on the first day of use, no heat. I called GE Service immediately, and was told that repair service could not be had for 12 days. I spoke to a supervisor, with no help. I insisted that the level of service was not acceptable, but no advice, no additional suggestions, no help AT ALL.
I am still waiting, after 10 days for a repairman.
I can't help thinking "what if this was a refrigerator, or filled freezer?" That's it with GE, no more business, EVER AGAIN!
