You make absolutely terrible products. In July 2004, I bought a million dollar house full of your (supposedly) high products. A short seven years later, virtually everyone is malfunctioning, had extensive repairs or has been replaced. Your company is a disgrace and emblematic of what is wrong with our great nation. If an industrial titan such as GE can not make quality products, then US is in sorry, sorry shape. But, I guess that matters little to you give your company doesn't pay taxes like us working Americans.
Here is the list of your poorly, poorly made products:
Refrigerator Arctic - $500 repair to replace fan and now needs a $1000 repair to place the control board.
Dryer Profile - control board malfunctioned - complete loss. Unit replaced with Whirlpool.
Range Monogram - can no boil a pot of water in under an hour
Oven Monogram - Absolutely impossible to replace light - been baking in the dark to two years now (same problem with frig light and microwave light)
Hood Monogram - light casing repeatedly falls. In fact, the case fell into the mash potatoes two Thanksgivings ago and ruined the batch. Nothing like Thanksgiving turkey with no mashed potatoes.
Ice Maker Monogram - I have spent more on repairs than it would have cost to replace the unit
Wine Cooler Profile - Overheated and needed repaired.
Dishwasher Profile - repeatedly clogged. Never cleaned appropriately. Replaced with Kitchen Aid unit.
Microwave - extensive peeling of paint on inside. Needs replaced.
Washer profile - paint peeling.
A whole array of products and problem, but one common theme - they were all manufactured by GE.
