My husband and I bought a GE front loader washer and dryer two years ago, September 2009. Within 30 days of purchase, GE service had to come fix the washer.

Fast forward to June of 2011 and our 6th, yes sixth repair where the tech literary overhauled the washer; this one repair (under warranty at the time) was more than we paid for the washer itself! Well, this weekend the washer started acting up AGAIN and was told today that it is no longer under warranty and the last repair only had a 90 day warranty.

GE rep could only offer me a copy of the service records but no repair. The store is "looking in to it" but I am not holding my breath!

Monetary Loss: $1000.
