The touch pad stopped responding, have had the unit for 5 years that I originally paid $949.99 + tax. The repairman without any diagnosis figured it was the touch pad as GE has a history of failures.
The part would be $480 + tax, the install of $109.00 + tax and the cost of the original call. The total would be $670.00. I spent over $6000.00 on GE products to find out when they break GE takes no responsibility after the one year warranty. I Guess GE product are disposable.
Have lost a customer for life and will encourage anyone I come in contact with to buy an alternative brand.
