Purchased and has professionally installed 2, 40 gal hot water heaters. Four months later, I have no hot water.

First customer service rep. put me on hold and then lost me, the second hung up on me. Finally, the third rep. required that I leave work to go home to describe the unit even though i had the model and serial number.

After two minutes with the last service rep. I was informed that I am responsible for the repairs even though there is a warranty unless the defect is a MANUFACTURERS DEFECT, although they will contact a repair contractor who will contact me within 24 hours. Meanwhile, no hot water. Beware; bad products and even worse customer/repair service.

I'm selling my GE stock at the bell tomorrow morning. A great company that has gone very, very bad.
