Installed new corian countertop, with opening made for GE cooktop. When the cooktop was installed it had a warped top, so reported it that day.

Subsequently had 3 more cooktops delivered all with same defect. Cancelled order and waited for new production lot to reach the warehouse. Reordered. Cooktop #5 was actually cooktop #3 redelivered.

Two more cooktops have been delivered, also defective. GE is now saying the defect is in the new countertop in spite of our having purchased a cooktop from another manufacturer and having it lay flat on the counter.

We have to have the opening made smaller to use another manufacturer's product but GE refuses to pay for that. It has been 2 months that we have not had a working cooktop.

Monetary Loss: $300.
