Our 2 year old GE profile refrigerator stopped cooling a month ago. Replaced motherboard and compressor fan $400. Didn't help. GE service came out, inspected, ordered parts. A week later parts installed, still not working. Determined that there is a blockage in the cooling lines.

GE agrees to replace fridge. In talking to multiple RUDE phone reps and managers the best offer was a slightly smaller unit. I wanted to upgrade to a slightly better model (don't want the same POS) and GE wouldn't flex on price 1 cent, even though I lost about $100 bucks worth of food from the freezer. They acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me what I already had. I wasn't trying to win the lottery here, just wanted to turn a bad experience into something positive.

Forced to pay an additional $400 for a unit that lists for $100 more on GE's website. Ordered fridge and waited for delivery.

So delivery day comes and the driver gives us 15 minutes to get home (although we had been assured 30) and after frantically arranging for someone to cover my classes (I'm a teacher) the driver refused to answer his phone. Contacted shipping company and THEY couldn't get him to answer either. Told it would be 4 more days. After a fit on my part, they agreed to deliver next afternoon.

Unit arrives at our house and stainless steel doors have multiple dents, including one so close to the handles that it looked somewhat intentional, or like a factory 2nd. Refused. Still waiting to hear about the next one. Very angry and nobody at GE or the shipping company cares.

I have a Ge water softening system GXSF35E01. The up down buttons stopped working.

The control board is not protected from the salt water. Ge wants $300 for a replacement control. It is a flawed design made to fail. Can't just prurchase the board.

But have to buy the whole assembly. Their web site geappliances.com doesn't give you the options your looking for. But a run around.

Either buy the part or setup a service call. I will not buy another Ge product.

APPROX 2 WEEKS AGO MY WIFE SENT AN EMAIL IN REGARDS ABOUT OUR GAS DRYER.IT WAS MAKING ALOT OF NOISE,IT WAS ONLY ONE AND HALF YEARS OLD.THE FELT WAS HANGING OUT OF THE FRONT AND ALSO A PIECE OF PLASTIC. SHE WAS TOLD BASICLY TUFF!!.I THEN TOOK APART THE DRYER AND BY DOING SOME COMPUTER WORK,FIGURED OUT WHAT PARTS TO ORDER,I NEEDED DRUM FELT,4 SLIDES AND FRONT DRUM BEARING.IT COST ME $47, I COULD ONLY THINK WHAT A SERVICE COMPANY WOULD OF CHARGED.

MY WHOLE POINT OF CONTACTING YOU AGAIN WAS TO TELL YOU THANX FOR NOTHING!!.I'M NOT AN ENGINEER BUT THE DESIGN OF THIS IS TERRIBLE.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD STICK TO LIGHT BULBS.I WILL ALSO ADVISE ANYONE I KNOW NOT TO PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCTS BECAUSE NOT ONLY DONT YOU STAND BEHIND THEM. I FEEL THIS SHOULD OF NEVER HAPPENED SO SOON UNDER NORMAL USE.ONCE AGAIN THANXXX FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!
