Ge Appliances - Wine Chiller dead after 6 mos.

I bought a renovated house with new appliances. One was a GE Wine Chiller. IT failed after 6 mo. I had no receipt, I called the company and was told if I could prove I had bought the house 6 mo. prior they would honour the warranty. They sent a repairman out and he declared the unit dead. I was called and told the unit would be replaced and delivered. They asked again for Model and Serial #. Then they told me suddenly that they could not find that in their system and would not honour the warranty. Had they done this from the start that would have been in line with statements in the user manual no receipt no warranty. but they didn't I gave them everything they asked for. Took time out of the day to meet the repairman. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! and a product that they won't stand by if it fails.

Ge Appliances - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

NEVER BUY APPLIANCES FROM GE , IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO HONOR THE WARRANTY. MY NEW DRYER (HOTPOINT) BROKE DOWN ONLY AFTER 4 MONTHS OF USE, AND THE COMPANY IS TRYING THEIR HARDEST NOT TO REPLACE THE UNIT WITH A NEW ONE. I WASTED SEVERAL DAYS TRYING TO GET THIS COMPANY TO DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. THEY DROP CALLS, THEY DON'T RETURN CALLS, THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD WITH NO MUSIC, THEY GIVE YOU A FAKE REFERENCE NUMBERS AND LIE ABOUT THEIR NAMES AND OPERATOR NUMBERS. I FINALLY HAD TO TELL THEM THAT I WAS RECORDING THEIR PHONE CALL, TO GET THEIR ATTENTION. IF THEY DON'T FOLLOW THROUGH THIS TIME, I'M PUTTING THE CALL ON YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ge Appliances - Warranty Review from Bentonville, Arkansas

We bought an expensive GE profile 36' Induction cooktop model:PHP960DMBB about a year and 3 months ago. It was working fine until yesterday when I heard a little pop sound and saw a flash of light from below the glass surface. Then the entire unit wouldn't turn on. Only one burner on right side front was on at the time and was set to 7.5. We had the technician come and check the unit and he says that the entire generator board has to be replaced and not just the right side alone. He gave an estimate of about 1650 including parts, labor and taxes. We could instead purchase another new unit for this price but why should we have to shell out money out of our pockets every year just because the product was not built well to last longer than the warranty period of 1 year. We trusted the brand name GE and purchased this cooktop and we thought it would at least last for 5 years. We are extremely disappointed and having kids in the home we can't eat out everyday until it is fixed or replaced . We would never buy anything GE ever again nor would we recommend even to our worst enemy. We need the cooktop fixed or our money back for our troubles.

Ge Appliances - GE inverter part it is a problem

I have a GE Monogram and I replace that part (WR 55X10490) three times already. A month ago burned again so it seems that have to replace it but I dont know how long will it last this time, I got the last part march 2013 so in my case doesnt last more than 2 years… It is definitely a *** part. GE doesnt stand on their products and doesnt honor the warranty, this is totally wrong Now I just wonder if this part it is the right one and probably I got a wrong one Also I based in Bogota, Colombia so it seems that this issue it is all over.

Ge Appliances - GE Warranty Repair is Terrible

Took 5 days to get first appointment to repair GE Profile range installed just 3 months ago. Technician has no parts on truck so has to order. 5 more days till next appointment. Part did not fix problem. Technician says call customer service and left as fast as he could. Complained very very strongly to GE Customer Service to get additional parts shipped overnight but still have to wait 2.5 days for next (the third) appointment. Bought set of 4 GE Profile appliances but that means nothing to GE. Unless you like to wait and wait and complain to get poor service at best, DO NOT BUY GE APPLIANCES.

Ge Appliances - Customer Service/repair

Purchased GE Electric Range 9/22/2009 and also purchased extended warranty thru 9/22/2014, last 3 times I used the stovetop/burners i would have the settings at 2-4 depending on what I was cooking and the burner would go wide open/glowing red all on its own and burning everything. This is happening on 3 out of the four burners. I called number provided for repair under extended warranty they informed me that my warranty had expired on 9/22/2014 and they referred me GE to schedule service call. I am told that after being loyal customer since 2009 and have purchased other GE products including apparently useless extended warranties that the only thing she can offer would be to buy another warranty. Why the *** would I do that when you would not honor the one I had because it had expired 3 days ago! Do you have that many customers that you can afford to lose customers. Ever heard of Social Media? I will never purchase a GE Appliance again!

I PURCHASED A WATER HEATER in Jan,2014 its less the 1 year old and I brought the warranty also,I called GE for a repairman to come out because there were no hot water.Your repairman was very disrespectful he stated that he didn't have the part to repair it that he had to order it and that he was not going to install it because i could install it when it came in two or three days.What kind of customer service is that,I have been with your company for years,this is not the type of service I will continue paying for.
