We purchased a high end GE Profile dual oven gas range in January 2011. The first range was damaged out of the box. Refused to accept it and sent it back on same truck. Second range shows up two weeks later with a seriously damaged handle. Accept that on with the...

Ge Appliances - GE Cafe Range - is CHEAP - Don't Buy
I purchase the Cafe Range - being sold as a professional range - we bought the gas/propane range. The knobs on the range wore out in the first year. They are made of cheap plastic. The ceramic plates on the grates - the black paint wore off the first year of use. ...

Ge Appliances - General Electric Profile Range Warranty

My gas range internal glass blew out in 2010 and was fixed under my warranty. Yesterday my external glass blew out in a million pieces all over the kitchen floor. Now they say there is no coverage from my extended warranty. I've found reference to these problems online before, but never thought it would happen on the inside as well as the outside. What is wrong with this glass? What if a child was walking by and it flew. The oven was not even in use and haden't been for a number of hours. This is not fair.

We bought a GE Adora over-the-range microwave oven in 2009. Before the one year GE warranty had expired, the oven had to be repaired four times! The magnatron had to be replaced twice, the control board once, and the door switches and a condenser too! I have never had...

Ge Appliances - GE Service Stinks

I have a 10 year old GE smooth top range with a convection oven. We paid about $1400 for the stove when it was new. Not a cheep stove, we wanted the best. We had some errors with the oven and called service & they came out and looked at the stove. The service man said the control panel kit and the electronic range control kit needs to be replaced. The control panel kit is no longer available. He said I needed to call GE. I called and they told me that if I got the unavailable kit aftermarket myself that they would have the service man come back and install it. They also said that they would email my wife with information as to where I could get that kit. Basically I feel that GE customer support blew me off. We have not heard from anyone as far as any information to where the part may be acquired from. I have searched many sites on the internet and it is not available. I also about a week after the incident got a call from a survey group about this. I expressed my dissatisfaction and anger about the way we were treated. They told me that this would be elevated to a red status, apparently something that I should hear from someone soon. So nothing has happened as of yet. So I feel GE has ripped me off for $80 bucks for a service call and has not given me anything for the money. They have not even gotten back to me with a source that I can get a part for my stove. Trust me when I say as it stands right now, I will never buy anything GE, not because it stove broke, but because they pretend to care about customer service but their actions do not show that philosophy. As far as I am concerned they might as well put on their advertisements and web sites that they don't give a rats back side about if their customers can get their stuff fixed or information from them, at least my expectations would not be as high as they started out to be. GE doesn't really care about the people who buy their products, they just want to give the impression they do.

Ge Appliances - Buy but you won't be included???

The GE company won't let me (a new appliance owner of a gas range, bought August 17th 2010, Calgary, Alberta, Canada) enter their contest........because I AM CANADIAN. How wrong is that......I can purchase but nothing more. I really have nothing else to say but it won't except my comments because I haven't used 100 words. I could tell you about the crummy weather we are having but there is nothing you can do about that either. I have read the pissed off comments .....hope I am not one of them. Thank you for your time.
