My 11 month old GE gas dryer(DWSR463GG8WW still under warrenty) makes a buzzing noise when the heat comes on and off. Called GE repair, told them the problem, even that it sounded like the gas valve.

Repairman came out, listened to dryer, confirmed it was the gas valve. He did'nt have new valve with him but one would be sent to my home in a week and they would come back to install it. If GE can't stock parts locally, its time they got out of the repair business.

This will probably be my last GE product.

Horrible experience with GE. Oven control panel broke in 5years.

Called GE Cares for repairs. They are awful! Disorganized. Lose phone connections.

Keep no records of service to fallback on.

Replace parts without even looking if it can be fixed first. Awful awful awful customer sevce.


Same story with me, no fridge for over 4 weeks. I even said I would pay for overnight shippin gfor the part, they said no.
