GE Appliances - Frustrated
On Saturday, my 7-year old GE Profile Refrigerator quit working. I assume its the compressor, which is under warranty.
I called and was given the first available appointment - for Wednesday afternoon, but I was told that a broken refrigerator is considered an emergency, which takes precedence over routine maintenance calls and I likely would hear from someone that day or early Monday morning.
When I didn't hear, I called again on Monday and was told that the appointment was reclassified from routine to emergency and I should hear from someone shortly. Four hours later, I called and was told that they won't have anyone out to fix the refrigerator until Wednesday afternoon.
The person with whom I was speaking offered to put me through to customer relations, when I said I didn't find this satisfactory and I thanked her for doing so. The call then disconnected.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
