Saturday, Feb. 16th, another tech was supposed to show up between 12 & 5.
I called this morning to confirm, and was told no, not today.
I hired a repairman who was happy to come out, of course now I'm out that money too. But at least now I can do my laundry at home.

Over a week ago the belt broke on my 7 month old Hotpoint dryer. Called GE warranty service to set appointment.
Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 6 between 1-5. I took off work to be home. They take all pertinent information over phone.
Tech shows up and doesn't have a belt to fit dryer. Has to order. It comes, and he is supposed to be here Tuesday, Feb 12th between 1-5. I *** work again, and at 5:00 he calls, can't make it.
It's their tech!
Now they decide they can send someone out on Saturday after all, but I have to wait for someone to show up , you guessed it, between 1 and 5. Don't buy from GE!
