VERY UPSET CONSUMER HERE...1 year old Fridge stopped cooling ( same as the last one we had!) Took weeks before we could get repair, repair came in July, said was working, worked for a few days then same issue. Lost hundreds of $$ in food per usual with a GE Fridge.
(Never again) FYI: We have hundreds of units going up on our construction projects and was going to use GE products (laughable...not now that's for sure). Scheduled another repair which was 4 weeks out, tech texted that he would be there at 10:06AM, then after seeing another text, texted that he would come at 3:11PM. At approximately 1PM, I received another text from tech stating that our Repair had been canceled. I never canceled as I drove 2 hours to be there!
Come to find out when I typed in GE Service On line it threw me over to Sears GE Service unbeknownst to me they are not affiliated evidently. I have been trying to get service for weeks now and was just told that GE Service can;t come out until 9/22!!! That's unacceptable given the situation here.We have been without a fridge since JULY!!! SOMEONE WITH AUTHORITY MUST CALL ME ASAP AS I AM GETTING NO WHERE WITH ANYONE AT GE.
ITS A TYPICAL RUN AROUND AND I'M TIRED OF IT. THIS IS A JOKE. I WANT A NEW FRIDGE OR REIMBURSEMENT FOR THIS LEMON SO I CAN GET A FRIDGE THAT WORKS. I'M SO DONE WITH GE APPLIANCES!!!

To start with we have been in contact with customer support for a couple of months.
Purchased GE washer Aug. 21st thru Lowes.
Did not use for 2 days and Lowes would not cover it because we didn't put on their credit card.
Paid cash. $600.77
The washer would drain but not spin. Tried on multiple types of loads.
1st repair man did nothing. Said this was his first day back and didn't have his tools or testing equipment.
2nd repair man checked it and don't know what he did.
Didn't fix problem.
3rd time changed electrical board and didn't fix problem.
4th time he changed electrical board again. Water sprayed all over my utility room and burned out board. Our electrician said it probably harmed the other wiring on washer.
We talked to a lady that said she would try to replace it.
They overrode this and says they are sending repair man out on 24th.
I am elderly and have problems getting around and cannot go to laundromat. THIS HAS GONE ON 2 MONTHS.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR THE WASHER REPLACED NOW!!
They have ruined it in the last 4 tries of repair and what makes you think the 5th try will work on a electrically damaged machine.
I have piled up laundry and expect a new one ASAP or a refund so I can buy a different.brand. MAKE THIS DECISION QUICKLY BECAUSE THIS OLD LADY IS PISSED OFF.

I bought a GE dryer in October 2022. I immediately had issues with it.
A service person came out. He replaced nine parts. The dryer has never been the same. I just put a load of clothes in the dryer is no longer drying your service professionals have been out to my home five times when I called GE, the woman on the phone said because of the issues I was having she would extend my warranty until April when I called today to set up an appointment my warrantee has not been extended to April.
Terrible company terrible customer service terrible dryer if there was such thing as a lemon law for dryers, like they have automobiles . I would have a lemon on my hand.

Hello GE-
I have been a long time owner of GE (and only GE) appliances since 1989. So when it was time to replace my appliances, I went to Steve's Appliances in Mounds View, MN.
On 9/27/23 I purchased a new GE refrigerator, range and dishwasher. The very next day, the range price dropped $250! The refrigerator and dishwasher stayed the same. I also learned that there is a $100 rebate for buying 3 GE appliances that began on 9/28/23.
The store said there wasn't anything they could do for me, because GE sets the prices and they cannot anticipate any changes.
As a teacher with very little income and a loyal GE customer, I'm appealing and begging you to help me with this $350 difference.
I've always and only trusted GE appliances, and our other units have served us faithfully well!
Any assistance you can provide me would be tremendously appreciated. If there's any additional information you need from me, please let me know.

Worse Customer service ever
My fridge and Freezer stopped cooling. I scheduled maintenance service on August 28 from 01:00 p.m.
to 05:00 p.m.
My confirmation number is 07005****.
However, no one showed up to do the required service and bothered to call, text, or send emails explaining why they did not come.
I called customer service twice, and each call lasted 45 minutes without help. In the second call, the representative told me he couldn't get to the dispatcher to find out what happened. And that I will receive a call or email from them soon. Again, nothing happened.
I had to request help from a local technician to fix my fridge and will end up paying 600 USD for a service I should get from GE.
I Called them again and tried to find an answer after they sent me an email to reschedule my service to Sep-08. They did not have a reasonable justification for my complaint. I talked to one of their supervisors and expressed my frustration with how I was treated. I informed her that I did not call asking for compensation.
That is what they thought. I called to get an explanation for their insolent treatment and if they trained their employees about how to treat their customers fairly and professionally.
I also sent an email informing them that I would cancel the appointment. What bothers me the most is that they assumed it was all about the money and that I would request compensation from them. But the people's dignity is much more valuable.
The least that can be said about my experience with GE appliances is horrible.
I'm wondering what kind of customer service GE has, as it is considered one of the elite companies in America.
I will find a solution for all other GE appliances in my house to replace them with more reliable company appliances. I don't need to go through the same drama again in the future.

Explanation of "MORE WATER" option
I pushed the "more water" option but it gave me a buzzing sound and no light appeared let me know it had accepted that option.
This SAME issue is asked several times by various customers online. The question is NEVER answered online.
Instead, there is a copy and paste reply of what the more water option means on p.10 of the manual. Everyone is reading the manual and following the instructions. The "more water" option is not working.
I have only had the new washer 1 week. So, I tried to problem solve myself.
It seems that when the "normal" cycle is selected - you cannot use the "more water" option - it gives you a buzz sound and does not light up. HOWEVER, when selecting the "Bulky" bedding option, you CAN select the "more water" option and it lights up. I have not had time to problem solve any further. HOWEVER - why isn't any of THIS information that a CUSTOMER figured out in the replies to the various people that inquired?
WHY doesn't your tech department know how your own washers work? Angela wanted to send a tech to my home. The washer is not broken, the "more water" option simply works with some cycles and not others. THIS information is NOT in the manual.
It SHOULD be/ NEEDS to be in the manual.
WHY AM I DOING YOUR JOB FOR YOU? I SHOULD BE PAYED FOR DOING ALL OF THE WORK BECAUSE CALLING GE WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME.
