Service for replacing broken mircrowave kept messed up for so many times

Hello,

I would like to deal with your manger of the customer care related to my broken microwave in less than a year. My reference number is 402- 5**- **.

It has been over 1 month to deal the your GE customer relation but it is still not being done properly by your installer that came in and out a few times. We lost our work to stay home waited for those people to come.

We missed nearly 20 hours of work and waited total in 4 days time.

We would like a money compensation from GE at this moment and also come be a proper installer with the complete tool to finish the job ASAP. It has been terrible so far.

I’m sure you did not lose anything. Everyone has personal or vacation time they use when things like this arise.

It is called life happens.

If you are out of paid time off, a microwave repair can wait. If you try to claim you don’t get paid time off then I say you are stupid for owning an expensive microwave that doesn’t make you think twice about missing $1000 in your check.

Also, this is a third party complaint site for thousands of companies.

GE doesn’t read these complaints. Anyone can comment and will comment when they see stupid in action.

New freezer lasted 16 months - GENERAL ELECTRIC

16 months ago, we purchased a new freezer and the freezer was placed in a protected area inside of the garage well ventilated and temperature controlled. The freezer was expensive upright frost, free and all of the other goodies on it that cost a fortune. last week It beeped and died!

16 month old! I swear GE mustve sold out to China. I will never purchase another GE product again in my life.

We are retired and fairly old and figured that freezer would last us the rest of our life. I am so glad that our compressor that the Lord put in our bodies works better than GE.

GE products are not worth the energy it takes to say their name!! *** COMPANY!

I was hung up on

I was talking to one of your team members this morning who is from Memphis Tennessee who is just wonderful. Unfortunately I did not get her name. Explain my situation she gave me a case number of. 1185-**** She placed me on hold after a few minutes a recording came on saying your customer. Service department is not open today and hung up on me now I already waited almost 40 minutes for this call back and Im hoping someone can call me back quicker than that. Thank you. The reason for my review is a bad compressor in a GE three door, twin compressor profile refrigerator

My review is not a good one! The profile twin compressor three door refrigerator is my issue.

The compressor went bad a year and seven months after purchase I did not purchase an extended warranty because typically I use the TE to service my appliances and I purchase my large purchases with a credit card that gives you an additional years warranty in my case, neither works. DTE doesnt touch that refrigerator and its compressor Evaporator parts the credit card company stock giving additional year warranties on major appliances.

Luckily, the compressor and evaporator has a limited five year warranty, which GE will fix once they are able A part which is on back order the compressor is know to have issues. GE should not be selling items for which they do not have a surplus of parts for replacement 14+ days is what theyre asking me to wait to locate a compressor.

User's recommendation: My recommendation for future customers is to buy an extended warranty and possibly not buy GE products because GE no longer stands for quality trust, worthy problem, free appliances

I purchased 5 appliances 5 years ago after house fire. In that time the dishwasher no longer heats, the microwave handle has wrinkled (apparently it's made of tape not stainless steel as that's best above a stove), the oven convection fan no longer turns, the dryer door safety switch doesn't failed and the washer drips water into the tank when off. I assume planned obsolescence is a thing or just terrible workmanship. Hence the expensive insurance that was offered I guess

Resolved: Leaking washing machine

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. After I spent three weeks trying to receive a reply from GE, Customer service from The Brick were finally able to talk to someone who set up a date for a technician to call.

The technician showed up on time. The problem was a leaking drain hose.

The replacement hose arrived in a week and the washer was repaired on 30th November. I was without a washer for five weeks.I have kept the telephone number of the company who sent the technician and will deal with them directly in future if needed.

On 29th October I submitted a request for service to mabeservice@***.ca My request has not been acknowledged nor have I received a reply. My washing machine is leaking from right rear corner. This washing machine was purchased on 20th February and installed on April when it arrived at The Brick in St. John`s where it was purchased. Please advise. Thank you Pamela Moorehead.

6 months old washing machine broke

Brand new washer 6 months in broke.. from day 1 we to unplugged and restore then start again. Machine wouldn't stop midway though wash cycle. This is by far the worst waste of money and time. Please stay away. Speed queen is what I have now.. made in USA. 3 times the price but you get what you pay for.

I have a GE appliance suite (3 pieces) purchased...

I have a GE appliance suite (3 pieces) purchased summer 2000. I am having problems with all three - a slide in stove, side by side refrigerator, and a microwave/oven wall combo. The slide in stove has a problem with the two front burners - even on the lowest setting, it continues to boil whatever I'm cooking and scorches it. The final straw was last week when the microwave went out. I am getting a message that the key panel shorted and it trips the switch in the electrical panel in the garage. I am very concerned about fire. The refrigeration has it's problems, too, but I'm not as concerned about a fire. Who do I report this to?

I paid right at $900 before taxes and delivery and yada yada yada for a GE dishwasher on September the 26th 2022. My first problem I had was in November the door would not close I called them up two weeks later I finally got someone out there to fix it in May it quit working I have been trying to get someone to fix it every since it is now as of today July the 14th 2023 and they are telling me it is not under warranty it's going to cost over $100 just for a service call from GE and so far they've missed two appointments to come out to fix it well less than a year all together well over $1,000 for a dishwasher and I've been washing dishes by hand for 6 weeks now. Buyer beware run run run from GE !!

Issues galore, GE Profile appliances nightmares

Purchased all new GE profile appliances. Less then 1 yr after install, washing machine needed repairs that took forever, and this morning my 2300 range just *** out.

My old range and wahing machine 0f 15yrs ran perfectly fine and still do to this day in a friends home while i suffer with inferior products, sevice and issues. If it aint broke dont replace it, all of these are now disposable products that require a matching priced service contract to keep them running. Best part is, they are out of comission until someone can service them on their schedule... I work for a living and cannot sit at home for 2 to 3 days, one day to visit and look, 1 day to come back with the wrong part or an order error, and then another to resolve the problem.

If you have an old appliance, 2010 or prior, put a couple hundred into it if you can. Otherwise your paying thousands for 1 yr or less of use before the pain and inconvenience.

Parts have not arrived, it's been a month!

GE should be more responsible to their clients when an appliance breaks down. I have read over 100 reviews and find that GE customer service is a rip off.

My GE Induction cooktop broke down exactly one year to the day of purchase. After my call to GE customer service, I had a repair man out within 3 business days. He had to order several parts and the motherboard. Well, where are they?

I haven't been able to cook since October 6th 2023, the day of my call. I called GE support today 11/2/2023 and received the same response as the repair service...the parts have been ordered and there is nothing more they can do. Well, I would like to be paid $600 dollars for being FORCED to spend money eating out. I would like a COMPLETE REFUND so that I can replace the cooktop.

With the poor customer service I have had, I'm not too sure I want to EVER PURCHASE A GE APPLIANCE AGAIN!!

That refund would be$1,698.00 plus $600 for having to eat out. It would be appreciated if GE would be more supportive and replace everyones appliance or parts in a timely manner as in 7-10 business days.
