We purchased a NEW home and this is the second microwave since we moved in. GE replaced the first due to the same issue we are now having again with the NEW one.

I am livid with this issue. WHY do they even replace a microwave with the same model if you have already had issues with the previous one?

A technician is coming out to FIX this. Like the last time? They really need to bring us a different model.

We have already been this route with GE with the first one.

The button sticks and half the time you can't open the door unless you push really hard, and the other day the microwave stayed on and I couldn't stop it or open the DOOR!! We moved into our home (BRAND NEW) in November of '19. It broke and was replaced in November of '20. It's now Feb of '21 and here we go again.

First one lasted one year with minimal use. Second one 3 months. Not only that but the person I talked to about coming out to repair this latest one had someone else name on our microwave as being the owner. So, my question was, is it a used unit?

He said "possibly". Oh boy. LOOK OUT PEOPLE!!

I am not one to sit back and take this because we paid good money for these appliances.

This is ridiculous. Yes, we are pissed.

User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!!

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
