I bought a GE side-by-side refrigerator and before the year's end, the ice-maker had failed. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance and confirmed I'd be home the night before.
The technician called on his way. I did not reach phone, but called right back, yet he simply moved on to his next appointment.
Customer Service promised the technician re-dispatched the same day, but later said he had too many other appointments.
After six hours and three rude people, GE rescheduled for one week later. Never again will I buy GE appliances or service!!!
