I bought a GE side by side refridgerator on 7/12/11 it was delivered on 7/14/11. On July 8th it died. I had to throw out over 500.00 worth of food. After going on Monday to the Riverhead store, they set a service call for 7/12 service came 10minand replaced the sensor. Bought a GE washer, someone at the factory didn't tighten the back bolt that held the drum in place. Called to have repaired thier soulution was to send me a new belt and all the while the laundry room floor is soaked. Found a great place for the washing machine after that. City dump where it can do the most good. Add comment

Our plastic knob cracked and we purchased a replacement knob from GE Parts for $71.50 and when the part arrived it was smaller then the orignal knob and didn't set properly on the stove it set out from the stove at least 1/16 to 2/16 of an inch from the stove and looked awful. Just called GE Cares today 1/4/15 at 1:10pm and Felicia could not have been less interested in my situation with my refrigerator. My washer has been broken for more than 5 weeks. I've had a technician to my house twice and am waiting for the 3rd visit. Every appointment takes 2 weeks. Their customer service people are completely unhelpful and will not escalate beyond a supervisor. They are THE most unhelpful company I have ever dealt with. Brand new washer - used 5 times. Stopped operating. Called service and got a repair appointment 10 days out. As someone else wrote in, repair technician did not have part on truck. So part has to be mailed ("about a week") and then the technician will come again in 8 days. Got absolutely nowhere calling GE. If you want arrogance, real poor customer service, buy GE.
