I bought a GE side by side refridgerator on 7/12/11 it was delivered on 7/14/11. On July 8th it died. I had to throw out over 500.00 worth of food. After going on Monday to the Riverhead store, they set a service call for 7/12 service came 10minand replaced the sensor. 3rd time one of our top of the line Monogram appliances broke. Now its the gas cooktop having NO spark...looking up cost of parts, very expensive and without correct tools to check electrical its a guessing game. On 10/7 we called GE for repairs on my washer and stove. Technician arrived on 10/9 stated we needed parts for both which he ordered. Parts arrived on 10/13 and technician came back on 10/14. After installing part on washer it still did not work and he said he would return either 10/15 or 10/16 with part which he did not have on truck. Product installed in 2008 (5 years old). The ice maker on the side-by-side refrigerator no longer works and it's almost impossible to replace without a professional repair person. The control panel touchpad on the microwave stopped working and there's no instructions to repair or replace. I'm now waiting for the stove to go "belly up". Took 5 days to get first appointment to repair GE Profile range installed just 3 months ago. Technician has no parts on truck so has to order. 5 more days till next appointment. Part did not fix problem. Technician says call customer service and left as fast as he could. Complained very very strongly to GE Customer Service to get additional parts shipped overnight but still have to wait 2.5... Read more

I bought a GXULQ water fukter frin Home Depot and installed it under my kitchen sink. They advertised that it would last six months. I am in an area close to Tacoma water and they claim to have the purist water around ( except fgor the chemicals they put in it) but the filter plugged iin three months to the point that we got very little water at the faucet! In my opinion the Ge Ceramic Top Ranges are defective. The smallest thing that gets on the top when you are cooking leave a terrible mark which takes a great deal of effort to remove. on 7/2-14 I purchased a new gas dryer, first time I used it wouldn't heat. Top shelf exploded when I opened the refrigerator door - sending billions of pieces of glass all over me, the refrigerator, the floors in my kitchen/dining/living room and hall way.
