Same issues as many in here - I never plan on buying GE appliances again- Our washer/dryer combo was an absolute dud. Overheated after ONE load, and never could be "repaired" to function reasonably after repeated, expensive service calls from GE Techs. For all the advancements, it made just washing and drying a tedious, endless headache. The LG models we replaced them with work perfectly. The GE fridge has been ok, with one or two performance... We bought a new GE washer in winter 2016, under GE warranty, Lowes ESP. By early summer it was broke down. It is now late summer and 2 certified GE repair visits and 2 cancelled ( by GE customer service ) repair visits later we still have a broke down washer, a huge long list of documented calls to GE, promises broken by GE, rude customer service staff, various styles of the runaround game, passing the buck, excuses, dropped calls, lies and one... As part of our new home build the GE Profile series was supposed to be an upgrade to the upgrade. In less than 4 years our dishwasher has broken down three times. And because the warranty was ONLY for a year I ended up fixing the issues myself. GE does not stand behind their products. Also, the Profile series is LOUD. Very loud considering this is supposed to be one of their signature series. The microwaive is no better than a $75 microwave... Read more

Bought a new GE French door refrigerator in 2013 paid 1800 slate color love it but now don't keep food cold so I have Ice inside to keep things from spoiling. I have had one challenge after the next with my 48 in GE Monogram fridge. Two expensive repair calls, arguments with GE "service". Basically unwilling to stand behind a product they charge many thousands for. The latest is a massive black mold growth behind my fridge due to poor design of the water line for the ice maker / door water! 4 foot tall by 1 to 2 feet wide at various points! I bought a GE washer and dryer 3/2016 its been less than 6months and both washer and dryer are not working, I have been without a washer and dryer for 2 weeks and still have to wait one more week for the parts to be ordered. Worst buy i have ever made!

Unit was processed iin May 2016. Unit started leaking water in Aug 2016. Turns out the unit was leaking water because the refrigerator and freezer were no longer cooling. Calling GE customer service was a waste of time. The person on the phone did not schedule service, ("we do not do service calls to your town - call the store you bought it from"). The phone rep did not offer any other information - stating she had a time limit for each service... Read more

In may ofnw015 I purchased 4 ge appliances . By January 2016 the closhes washer was leaking 5 hose replacementz were done...one set I purchased and replaced myself. Washer still leakied. Finally. In March it was determined that the port for the hose line was bad. They sent a replacement washer. This washer does not finish a wash cycle. I called about it on Julyn28th 2016. 6 years ago we bought new kitchen appliances; double ovens, glass stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. 3 out of the 4 have had to have things replaced in order for them to work appropriately. Tow examples are: The refrigerator has to be defrosted every 6 months or the water line freezes (common complaint) and the vent fan knob on the stove broke into two. Customer service put us on hold for 30 minutes then disconnected us when filing a complaint about a defective, less than 5 month old electric dryer. Replacing a belt over and over does not fix the problem and in fact their repairman made it worse, horrible knocking. The dryer works for 10 minutes tops then the belt breaks, did the repairman bother to even TRY it? Nope, oh, that is very unusual to have the belt break on these, you are good to go... Read more
